Resisting what we judge as bad makes sense to our minds, but there is yet another type of resistance: resisting what we judge as good. Each of our minds say, What?! Why would I do that?
The reason why is simple: the egoic, negative, resisting mind is insane.
The resistance we exert against what we judge as good is when we are not thankful for all the good that is already in our lives.

From the perspective of a higher consciousness, everything is good. From an even higher level of consciousness, there isn't even good and bad, instead everything is perfect. Right now, look all around you and see what you can be thankful for. Is this really going to help you? Yes.
How? It drops the negativity of resistance. It changes the attention and the focus of your mind which changes the types of thoughts you have.
If, instead of "What?! Why would I do that?" you said, "What?! Why would it do that?" you are conscious.
