The mild form of resistance to Life is subtle because it's such an acceptable, "normal" way to live in our society.
One way we do this is when we get more focused on the destination than the journey, which of course happens when we don't value the journey, but only the destination.
This can be as simple as sleeping for the goal of being well-rested in the morning, so that we don't feel like we're trying to resurrect ourselves from the dead when the alarm goes off. Often people get so tightly wound up in this goal though that they can't sleep until they're exhausted, and so they are awoken by their alarms, feeling that same way.
When our eyes are too much on the trophy, we forget the game, and so we don't get the trophy either.

Another form of this type of resistance to Life is when we're not here.
Yes, the phone's GPS (global positioning system) says, "You are here," but where is your mind?
Are we experiencing what is going on around us this very moment? That is, is our attention right where we're at? Probably not, almost all of us are always busy trying to get elsewhere.
Make Life your Friend (this will take more than clicking "Add Friend") by trusting that whatever is most beneficial to you is what is happening right now. Give it your complete attention.
